Day 1

Seattle

There is free airport pick-up service during 9:00AM-10:00PM. Please wait for the tour guide at number 1 Baggage Claim area, and then guests will be taken to the hotel to catch a rest. Guests are able to arrange the rest of day by their own,or join our optional Morning Tour or Night Tour. (To arrange the tour, it requires at least 4 guests enrolled.)

Day 2

Seattle - Spokane - Missoula (475 miles)

After guests have been picked up in Seattle, we will begin this tour by driving east along I-90 until we reach Spokane. Later, we will continue to Missoula, Montana, where we will stop at the 50,000 Silver Dollar Bar.

Day 3

Missoula - Yellowstone National Park (236 miles)

We will arrive in Yellowstone around noon and tour the most famous national park in the country. Over the course of the day, we will see Dragon's Mouth Spring, Mud Volcano, Fountain Paint Pot, Yellowstone Lake, and Old Faithful. In the evening, we will check into our hotel in Livingston, Montana.

    Fountain Paint Pot

    Fountain Paint Pot, heated by the region's underground hot springs, F.P.P is half hot spring, half mud basin. The spring releases natural shades of red and yellow because of the oxidation of iron in the soil.

    Mud Volcano Area

    The Mud Volcano blew itself apart in the early 20th century, but visitors can still see the impressive crater and other geothermal features in the surrounding area, such as the Mud Cauldron, Black Dragon's Caldron, and Dragon's Mouth Spring.

    Old Faithful Geyser

    Old Faithful is a cone geyser in the Upper Geyser Basin of Yellowstone National Park. It is one of the park's most well-known natural features, and is famous for its predictability. It generally erupts every 91 minutes.

    Yellowstone Lake

    Yellowstone Lake isn't just the largest single body of water in Yellowstone National Park, but the largest elevated freshwater lake in the US. The lake contains several underwater hot springs that melt its otherwise thick ice sheets in the winter.

Yellowstone National Park - Missoula (503 miles)

Today, we will continue to explore Yellowstone National Park by visiting Mammoth Hot Springs, the Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone, Yellowstone River Falls, and more. In the afternoon, we will drive back to Missoula.

    Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone

    This impressive gap in the earth in the first large canyon on the Yellowstone River. It is 24 miles long, and can reach a quarter-mile in depth and 3/4 a mile in width. It is gorgeously colored.

    Lower Yellowstone River Falls

    The Lower Falls of the Yellowstone River in Wyoming are the largest by volume in the Rocky Mountains of the western United States, and they stand more than 300 feet tall-- almost twice as high as Niagara Falls.

    Mammoth Hot Springs

    This large complex of hot springs is impressive both for its unique beauty as well as its scale. Formed hundreds of thousands of years ago by volcanic and seismic activity, these springs are one of Yellowstone's most popular spots.

    Tower Fall

    This waterfall in Yellowstone National Park gets its name from the rock spires that sit at the top of the 132 foot drop along the Tower Creek in the northwestern region.

    Upper Yellowstone Falls

    Located a quarter-mile upstream of the larger Lower Falls, the Upper Yellowstone River Falls plunge 109 feet down an eroded lava cliff into the basin below. The area below the falls has been subject to heavier erosion than above.

Missoula - Coeur d'Alene - Seattle (423 miles)

Today, we will go on a sightseeing tour of Lake Coeur d'Alene. Later, we will arrive in Seattle.

Seattle

Today, we will go on a sightseeing tour of the Seattle area, visiting the Boeing Factory, Pike Place Market, the Space Needle, Chihuly Garden and Glass, the EMP Museum, and Pioneer Square.

    Boeing Factory

    Boeing is the largest aircraft manufacture in the world. At its factory you will learn the history of aircraft making and also see one of the only 4 Dream lifters in the world; there will be professional Boeing employee guiding you to see the assembling process of the Boeing 7-series.

    There is a minimum height requirement of 4 feet (122 cm) for children participating in the Boeing Tour. To avoid disappointment please make sure to check height before purchasing tickets. This restriction is strictly enforced.

    Pike Place Market

    One of the oldest farmers' markets in the United States, the Pike Place Market first opened in 1909-- more than 100 years ago. The still-thriving market overlooking Elliot Bay sees more than 10 million visitors every year.

    Space Needle

    This icon of the American Northwest has adorned everything for movie screens to postage stamps. Built in 1961 for the 1962 World's Fair, the Space Needle features outdoor elevators and a rotating restaurant at its top.

    Chihuly Garden and Glass

    This magnificent garden is an exhibit at the Seattle Center that displays the incredible glassworks of Dale Chihuly. The facility includes a garden, a glasshouse, interior exhibits, and a theater. Inside the glasshouse is a 100 foot long structure.

Olympic National Park

We will spend the day at Olympic National Park, where we will see Hurricane Ridge and Lake Crescent, the park's two most famous landmarks. (If we can't drive to the Hurricane due to the bad weather, we will go to the other attractions in Olympic National Park.)

    This UNESCO World Heritage Site in the northwesternmost corner of the United States is best known for being part of the largest temperate rainforest on the planet. It is also home to gorgeous coastline and a portion of the Olympic Mountains.

    Hurricane Ridge

    Located within Washington's Olympic National Park, this mountainous region is a popular destination for hiking, skiing and snowboarding. In the summer, several picnic areas open up, making this a great spot for a day-trip from nearby Seattle.

    Lake Crescent

    This deep lake in the heart of Olympic National Park holds water that is a brilliant hue of bright blue. It was formed during the last Ice Age by thousands of years of glacial activity.

Day 8

Mt. Rainier National park

Today, we will spend our time in Mount Rainier National Park. The mountain itself is circled by the Wonderland Trail, which is covered by several glaciers and snowfields. Mount Rainier is a popular peak for mountaineers. We will drive along Paradise Road, where we will be able to see plenty of the park's attractions like Christine Falls, Narada Falls, Paradise Jackson Visitor Center, Reflection Lakes, Paradise Valley and more. We will go along the Wonderland Trail by stopping at 2-3 scenic spots. (According to the situation of the day) In the summer, we will lead you traverse the Volcano mountains. Afterwards, we will return to Seattle, where the tour will end. Please see "Departure and Return" for more detailed information regarding pickup and drop-off times and locations.

    Mount Rainier National Park is named for Mount Rainier itself, the tallest peak in the United States and an active volcano predicted to massively erupt sometime in the next decade. Still, more than a million people visit its slopes each year.

  • Child rates: Child rates apply to those 0-12 years and using existing bedding with 2 full-paying passengers (regardless of ages). Please note each hotel room can only accommodate 4 guests (adults or children). Upon increasing needs and local statutes in Seattle, a separate seat is required for child who is 0-8 yrs old. Booking changes
A fee may be charged for any revision or alteration made to a reservation after the booking is confirmed. Name changes or corrections may be treated as a cancellation and cancellation fees will apply. A change of tour date or tour itinerary may be treated as a cancellation, and normal cancellation fees will apply. Please be noted that we do not allow departure change 48 hours before departure.

Cancellations and Cancellation Fees
Regardless of reason, cancellations result in costly charges from our travel and hotel providers covering penalties and fees incurred by canceling confirmed and pending bookings. Therefore, cancellation penalties and or fees will apply. Time of cancellation will be determined when notice is received and confirmed by our office. Notice of cancellation must be made directly to TakeTours by email or through web mail at Contact Us .

Cancellation penalties per person. (For cancellation or change of departure date)(Notification day and departure day are not counted)

  • If requested 10 days before the tour departure date, the received payments would be refunded after deductions of all hotels, air tickets, credit card processing fee and any expenses incurred.
  • If requested is in between 3 days to 10 days before the tour departure date, the received payments would be refunded after deduction of 50% of tour price, as well as hotel, air tickets and any expenses incurred.
  • If requested within 3 days from the tour departure date, no refund will be allowed.
  • If customer chose to discontinue tour before the tour is finished or miss any part of the tour, no refund would be allowed. In addition, it is the client own responsibilities for all consequences arises from an early termination of the tour.
  • There is 6% handling fee add-on to the above penalties.
  • If any personal factor (Missing travel documents, being late, sickness, accident etc.) resulted customer not to attend the tour or to discontinue the tour, there would be no refund and any make up service. Our company has no responsibility for customer's any activity since the termination of the tour.

NOTE: We cannot grant any refunds more than 30 days after completion of tour. Itinerary Variations
We constantly strives to improve tour itineraries and features. If such improvements can be made, or unforeseen circumstances beyond our control make changes necessary - we reserve the right to vary itineraries and to substitute hotels. At certain peak periods duplicate departures may operate, and sometimes in reverse order in which case hotels may vary from those stated on the itinerary pages.

Tour Cancellation:
We reserves the right to cancel or re-schedule any tour departure in accordance with operating requirements or circumstances beyond its control. If cancellation is made any time prior to departure* of the tour, TakeTours' only liability will be to refund to the passenger the amount it has received for the tour booking. We will try to re-book the same or similar tour.. Please note that we are not liable for any cancellation penalties incurred on any other travel arrangements including air tickets purchased separately from customers.
