Day 1

New York (9 miles)

Today, guests will arrive at one of the there major airports in the New York City Area (JFK, LGA, EWR), where they will be met by a tour guide at the baggage claim. There is a complimentary shuttle service from the airport to the hotel. Guests who arrive at JFK or LGA before 3:00pm have the option to tour the Flushing, Queens at their own leisure, we'll provided free left-luggage so that you can go to Sky View Center much easily. Those arriving at EWR before 12:00 can go to the Jersey Garden Outlets Mall for an additional $10. All who arrive before 4:30pm can join an optional Night Tour of the city.

New York

We will spend the day touring New York City, seeing all the best sights this metropolis has to offer. We will take a sightseeing cruise to get close to the Statue of Liberty and the Brooklyn Bridge. Then, we will go to the USS Intrepid Sea Air and Space Museum. In the Financial District, we will visit the New York Stock Exchange, the Charging Bull, Trinity Church, the metropolitan Museum of Art, Times Square, we may visit the Madame Tussauds Wax Museum in New York or the wax museum in Washington D.C. (base on traffic condition), and the Museum of Modern Art. Later, on a bus tour, we will see Fifth Avenue, Rockefeller Center, the United Nations Headquarters, Ground Zero, and the under-construction Freedom Tower.

Day 3

New York - Princeton - Philadelphia - Amish - Washington DC (228 miles)

In the morning we will visit Princeton, NJ and the campus of the prestigious Ivy League school, Princeton University. Next, we will depart for historic Philadelphia, PA to visit National Independence Park, where we will see Congress Hall and the famous Liberty Bell. (According to the traffic, weather and time of the day, guests may have chance to visit One Liberty Observation Deck, which is the only observation deck in Philadelphia). Overnight in Washington, DC.
If the time premit, we will journey to Lancaster, PA, the heart of Amish Country. Here, we will visit the Amish Farm and House to learn about this unique culture that shuns modern technology.

Washington DC

We will spend the the day touring Washington, DC. Our first stop of the day will be the US Capitol (If the Capitol Hill is closed due to certain factors, we will only visit it from outside). Sunday will be closed. Though the White House is closed to visitors, we will still be able to take photographs of its exterior. Highlights of the tour include an optional Potomac River Cruise and visits to all of the major monuments, such as the Lincoln Memorial, Vietnam War Memorial, and Korean War Memorial. We will also delight in visits to the National Air and Space Museum and Madame Tussaude Wax Museum.

Washington DC - Corning - Niagara Falls (343 miles)

Driving through the hilly countrysides of Pennsylvania and New York state, we will enjoy the rural scenery as we head north to visit the Corning Glass Museum in Corning, NY. We will then continue on to Niagara Falls, NY where we will take the famous Maid of the Mist boat ride (No boat operation in winter), if time is available, guests will have chance to take the impressive and exciting Niagara JETBOAT (JetBoat tour will be closed under tough weather or river icy condition). Then see the Adventure Movie. Guests can then choose either to stay in the Falls Park for self-exploration or have an in-depth tour that includes visits to the Whirlpool State Park and Old Fort Niagara. At dusk, there will be an exciting Traditional Native American Dance Show, and the night will be ended with the beautiful native singing and the gorgeous traditional dancing!

Niagara Falls - Boston (407 miles)

Driving along the Erie Canal in upstate New York, we will continue our journey to Boston, MA. Here, we will tour the campuses of Harvard University and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. After that, we will pass Trinity Church, the Hancock Building, Boston Common, the Public Garden, the Boston Athenaeum, while overlooking the golden dome of the Massachusetts State House. In the evening, we will enjoy a delicious Lobster Dinner.

Day 7

Boston - Newport - Boston (123 miles)

To start the day, we will take a Boston Harbor Cruise and enjoy a fantastic view of this historic city from the bay. (In the Winter, we will go to the New England Aquarium). We will then visit Quincy Market for some food and shopping. After, we will leave Boston for the day and head to by Newport, RI, we visit the illustrious Breakers Mansion, a former home of the Vanderbilts. We will return to Boston for the night.

Today we will drive north of the city. Our first stop will be the famous military academy, West Point, in the town of West Point, NY. Here, we will learn about the Unites States' military history. From there, we will make our way to Woodbury Commons Premium Outlets in Woodbury, NY for some bargain shopping. At the end of the day, we will head back to New York City for flights home.     • City passes are not accepted during an escorted tour due to the fact that they do not correspond into the tour schedule. The group entrance tickets provided by tour guides have fast lane and tour guides accompany passengers for activities.

    The purchase of any travel services represents your acceptance Terms & Conditions set out herein. Please ensure that you read carefully and understand these Terms & Conditions prior to booking.

    Booking changes
    A fee may be charged for any revision or alteration made to a reservation after the booking is confirmed. Name changes or corrections may be treated as a cancellation and cancellation fees will apply. A change of tour date or tour itinerary may be treated as a cancellation, and normal cancellation fees will apply. Please be noted that we do not allow departure change 48 hours before departure.

    Cancellations and Cancellation Fees
    Regardless of reason, cancellations result in costly charges from our travel and hotel providers covering penalties and fees incurred by canceling confirmed and pending bookings. Therefore, cancellation penalties and or fees will apply. Time of cancellation will be determined when notice is received and confirmed by our office. Notice of cancellation must be made directly to TakeTours by email or through web mail at Contact Us .

    Tour Departure: This tour has 100% guaranteed departure; if the tour is cancelled there will be refund of 120%. Restrictions apply; due to weather conditions, State Emergencies, Airport Closures or anything beyond the control of the tour operator the 120% refund will NOT apply.

    Cancellation penalties per person for tours last 5 or more days(Notification day and departure day are not counted)

    • Up to 46 days prior to departure - 10% of total purchase amount.
    • 21-45 days prior to departure - 25% of total purchase amount.
    • 8-20 days prior to departure - 50% of total purchase amount.
    • 1-7 days prior to departure - 100% of total purchase amount.
    • Day of departure or no show - 100% per person.
    • Unused features are non-refundable. No shows forfeit entire payment.
    • There is 6% handling fee add-on to the above penalties.

    NOTE: We cannot grant any refunds more than 30 days after completion of tour.

    Itinerary Variations
    We constantly strives to improve tour itineraries and features. If such improvements can be made, or unforeseen circumstances beyond our control make changes necessary - we reserve the right to vary itineraries and to substitute hotels. At certain peak periods duplicate departures may operate, and sometimes in reverse order in which case hotels may vary from those stated on the itinerary pages.

    Tour Cancellation:
    We reserves the right to cancel or re-schedule any tour departure in accordance with operating requirements or circumstances beyond its control. If cancellation is made any time prior to departure* of the tour, TakeTours' only liability will be to refund to the passenger the amount it has received for the tour booking. We will try to re-book the same or similar tour.. Please note that we are not liable for any cancellation penalties incurred on any other travel arrangements including air tickets purchased separately from customers.

    We are not responsible for any other travel arrangements affected due to our cancellations.
